Not but recently the stories have changed again, that he was escaped, that he had troubled Shardholders, that he was threatening revenge... Master Waver and Master Kaldur have spoken a little of the troubles that Reynard brought in his wake - I do not know where you are, nor how you fare - but I hope you will be well.

If you can give me an update on the situation, please do so. I realize that Redgate is not kind to locket communication, but I would like to know if there should be a general advisory in place to ensure people are not heading into a trap set by Reynard.
In the event that I don't have a response by nightfall, please forgive me if I ask everyone en route to help to delay their travels, until we have more information. I am terrified of what might happen if everyone goes in unarmed.

In short: Tarz is a problem. Our friend did not react well to the news. Man in question had a wife who worked for neutrality and she and Tarz' wife were very brutally murdered by Unseelie for it. I don't even want to tell you the details.

Dorian struggles for a long time with Saralegui's gift, in part because he fears to be too forward. Eventually, he settles on a white gold bracelet, woven in links of thin metal that plates together, almost as snake-scales, dotted with precious gems. It is a versatile thing, for it can be worn in two ways: visibly, with all its layers pulled together loose at the wrist; or drawn up against the skin in a long wrap that would hide it easily under any shirt sleeve.

Saralegui had planned on sending something since the season first started turning towards Yule. But the gift he receives is lovely and endearing, and there had been any doubt as to whether he should actually send him own present, it vanishes quickly.

There is a simple letter delivered to Saralegui's desk, curled parchment sealed with red and gold ribbon and red wax, pressed into which is a curved shape that looks something like a stylized fish.

How have you been doing? I have not heard much of you, recently, and I am concerned for you. Would you, perhaps, have time to see me later?

There is no information given as to a reply. The letter is placed partially on top of a list of faculty for the mage academy, directly over the set of names for T.A positions.

The letter had been put aside just for the day, at first.
The next morning, Saralegui woke to find Tzilan gone and, well...paperwork and correspondence went ignored for a few days, to say the least.
There was a pile to work through when he finally set himself to getting back to everything, and he'd completely forgotten about the cute little note until he unearthed it from where it was been buried under everything else. The shape of the paper and the whimsical little closing almost brought a hint of a smile to his face, and then he noticed the faculty list casually left underneath it and understands immediately when a familiar name catches his eye.

The staff was always eager to please, as if afraid any cause for offense might get them evicted or something, and he was generally left to look in on classes as much as he liked. Handy, if he was curious about a topic being taught, but just as useful now when he was poking his head in a few classrooms until he found the person he was looking for.
Saralegui slips in as quietly as possible, taking a seat at the back of the room. He could wait until the class was over, at least.

Xion's still thinking about what Lightning and Yuri had told her. About the courts, about the war, everything.
