It would all be helped by knowing where Reynard is coming from, and what is rate of travel is.

It'd be an idea to at least try and get a semblance of a plan in place. I speak from experience in fighting him without any idea of what one is up against.

RE: location, true enough. I can haul my ass to Daonna if need be.

Planning is good, but without any more solid timeline, I'd rather err on the side of "immediately", and so going anywhere else to plan runs the risk of wasting time we don't have and stranding those looking to help far from where they're needed.

And Retgate is itself far enough from a fairy ring that getting help to it should be a more immediate priority. If there's to be any sort of gathering to plan, let it be there, where no matter how much of a strategy has been worked out, those involved will be on hand to defend the city rather than still days away in some other location.

Caer Scima. There was an issue to deal with. [vague, but somehow even the text delivers that air of "don't worry about it".] I have not even been to Redgate yet myself. But I'll go now.

I'll get myself moving come tomorrow. The dogs that've been running around seem to strike at night, and we've had an invasion of them this evening.

An acquaintance of mine who's here with me is a general. I ask your permission to invite him along into this.

[ah, right. the dogs. those could be a nuisance in making good time. but then, he might be able to call in a favor, avoid all that entirely and get there quickly.]

Please do. Any possible help in protecting the city from the Fox, I want. He won't so much as approach Redgate if I have any say in the matter.
