Master Saralegui? Your pardon for taking so long to contact you again. I do not know what news you already heard, but here in Redgate they spoke of holding the Fox. Not but recently the stories have changed again, that he was escaped, that he had troubled Shardholders, that he was threatening revenge... Master Waver and Master Kaldur have spoken a little of the troubles that Reynard brought in his wake - I do not know where you are, nor how you fare - but I hope you will be well.

I'm aware of all that. I was one of the shardholders he'd "troubled".

[that's probably putting a bit mildly, if his delay in answering this and general air of exhaustion are any indication.]

Ah, that is good - I worried that my tardiness might have caused you harm. As it is, I fear I must apologise for not being able to discover the information you needed sooner. Have you taken much harm?

It's fine -- I doubt anyone was investigating what would have really helped us be prepared for his tricks. But we all survived, despite Reynard's best attempts at ensuring otherwise.

I am glad to hear that. [ an almost audible shrug ] I only wish I had been of more use - a mad dog is a mad dog, irregardless of which side he favours.
